Disability Insurance

Protection for when life happens, and work can’t.

Short-term Disability insurance provides income when a plan member is unable to work as a result of being hospitalized, in an accident, or ill up to 17 to 26 weeks. This is a guaranteed issue benefit, and it can insure company owners only if such a plan design is required.

Long-term Disability insurance provides income to plan members who become disabled and unable to perform the duties of his or her occupation. Benefits usually commence post 119 or 180 days.
